Michael Zacchilli Orthopedic Surgeon

Fellowship Trained, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

​Sports Medicine, General Orthopedics

Dr. Michael Zacchilli is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon at The Orthopedic Institute at Lenox Hill - Greenwich Village.  He graduated with honors from Harvard University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  He completed his residency with the United States Army, where he served as chief resident and was voted the distinguished graduate of his class.  Following residency he was stationed at Fort Bragg, where he cared for Airborne and Special Operations soldiers, completed three deployments, and was selected for assignment with the Joint Special Operations Command.  After completing his military service, he completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at the NYU-Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases.



Priscilla Franco 

Senior Administrative Manager

 

Priscilla is a senior manager with Northwell Health and the point person for our Orthopedic Institute at Lenox health Greenwich Village.  With years of exprience in the field of orthopedics, she provides guidance and oversight to the front desk staff and the clinical care teams in support of Dr. Zacchilli and his partners.

Carolyn Bernieri, PA-C 
Orthopedic Physician Assistant​

 

Carolyn is a board-certified, New York licensed Physician Assistant working alongside Dr. Michael Zacchilli as his private PA in both the clinic and operating room. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University in Virginia. Carolyn has always had a love for sports so it was only natural that she chose to specialize in sports medicine.

Etan P. Sugarman, M.D. | Orthopedic Surgeon​

 

Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Elbow

Dr. Etan P. Sugarman is a board eligible fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in the treatment of athletes of all abilities, from high school to professional players to weekend warriors.  Dr. Sugarman completed a fellowship at the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, home of the "Tommy John" procedure, becoming an expert in elbow injuries and throwing athletes.  He also helped take care of the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Sparks, and USC football.

Caroline Suttle, PA-C​

 

Orthopaedic Physician Assistant

Caroline is a board-certified, New York licensed Physician Assistant working alongside Dr. Etan Sugarman as his private PA in the office and operating room. Caroline received her Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University. She went on to earn her Master of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Drexel College of Medicine with a concentration in anatomy. Lastly, she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Southern California University of Health Sciences. Caroline began her PA career here at Northwell. She has extensive expertise in foot & ankle and sports medicine.
